The Sheriff’s Department will also make an appearance at the Library at 10 a.m. on Thursday when they tell fun stories about being a detective. Kids can also look at some equipment used to crack tough investigations in Blue Earth County.

In honor of County Government Week, Blue Earth County will soon have a County coloring book available for children at the Blue Earth County Library, the License Center, the Courthouse and on the County website at www.co.blue-earth.mn.us.

National County Government Week is sponsored by the National Association of Counties (NACo) to raise public awareness about the roles and responsibilities of counties. Blue Earth County is one of more than 1,000 counties nationwide that participate in the week.
