Sandbags (bags no sand) Available

With the possibility of spring flooding approaching, Blue Earth County Emergency Management has sandbags available.
If you are in need of the sandbags, please contact Brenda Olmscheid (507-304-4806) or Mike Maurer (507-304-4808), Emergency Management Staff for procedural details. For emergency situations after business hours call 911.
The Sheriff’s Office will not be delivering the bags. Citizens are responsible for arranging pick-up. When the bags are picked up, a sandbag request form needs to be completed and signed prior to the release of the sandbags.
