POSITION TITLE:
Youth Activity Director
PURPOSE: Provide a positive role model for a youth
in the Diversion Program
DUTIES:
1) Meet with youth on a weekly basis or as necessary;
2) Help the youth coordinate activities and develop interests jointly
or individually;
3) Review activities from prior week with the youth;
4) Encourage and model self-esteem, self-confidence, a positive attitude
and constructive responsibility of self for the youth;
5) Meet the supervising staff person on a monthly basis or as needed;
6) Keep time sheets of your hours.
REQUIREMENTS:
1) At least 18 years old;
2) An interest in working with youth;
3) An interest in recreational activities;
4) Willing to learn and help people;
5) Open-minded and non-judgmental;
6) Maintain confidentiality;
7) Good communications skills;
8) One year sobriety if chemically dependent;
9) Have driver’s license and adequate transportation and automobile
insurance;
10) No criminal charges pending or under any court upervision or suspended
sentence;
11) Complete volunteer orientation and training;.
12) Attend in-service meetings as scheduled;
13) Attend staff meetings as specified.
TIME COMMITMENT: Minimum of 1 year, minimum of two hours/week.

POSITION TITLE: Community
Work Service Coordinator
PURPOSE: Arrange, monitor and enforce court orders as
they pertain to clients performing unpaid Community Work Service.
DUTIES:
1) Meet with clients and have them sign work/medical contract;
2) Determine appropriate work sites for clients;
3) Arrange clients’ first work day at sites;
4) Provide follow-up contact with work site to assure client compliance;
5) Provide follow-up with client if he/she is having difficulty completing
hours;
6) Be supportive, firm and understanding of client;
7) Report clients’ activities to supervising probation officer as
needed;
8) Keep time sheets and written records of client contacts;
9) Other related needs as specified per client.
REQUIREMENTS:

2) Willingness to learn and help people;
3) Open-minded and non-judgmental;
4) Maintain confidentiality;
5) Good communication skills;
6) Ability to meet with criminal offenders and set conditions;
7) Interviewing skills to obtain accurate information to make appropriate
placement decisions;

Assistant
PURPOSE: Assist in gathering statistical information
for reports, studies, programs, and plans.
DUTIES:
1) Gather statistical information for reports, studies, programs, and
plans;
2) Prepare reports on information gathered;
3) Meet the supervisor to discuss ongoing projects;
4) Keep time sheets of your hours;
REQUIREMENTS:
1) At least 18 years old;
- Able to work independently;
3) Knowledge of statistics and data gathering procedures helpful;
4) Willing to learn;
- Open-minded and non-judgmental;
- Maintain confidentiality;
- One year sobriety if chemically dependent;
- No criminal charges pending or under any court supervision or suspended
sentence;
9) Complete volunteer orientation and training.
TIME COMMITMENT: Prefer at least 1 semester - minimum four
hours/week

POSITION TITLE: Community
Corrections Program Assistant
PURPOSE: Assist probation officers with Community Corrections
Programs.
DUTIES: Assist probation officers with any of the following
programs:
- Teen Court;
- Cognitive Restructuring Group;
- Victim Offender Mediation;
- Girls’ Circle/Female Specific Programming;
- Diversion (Juvenile)
REQUIREMENTS:
TIME COMMITMENT: Prefer at least 6 months – minimum
four hours/week

POSITION TITLE:
Corrections Assistant – Adult Minimum Supervision/Group Reporting
Program
PURPOSE: Assist probation officer in monitoring low risk
adult offenders.
DUTIES:
1) Monitor minimum adult supervision cases.
2) Verify fine and restitution payments.
3) Complete Court documents and prepare reports.
4) Contact client to verify compliance of Court order.
5) Enter accurate updated information in computer.
6) Attend group reporting meetings.
7) Meet directly with clients.
REQUIREMENTS:
1) Must be at least 18-years-old.
2) Background in criminal justice preferred.
3) Must be reliable and dependable.
4) Open minded and non-judgmental
5) Must have good communication skills.
6) Must maintain confidentiality.
7) Able to work independently.
8) One year verifiable sobriety if chemically dependent.
9) No criminal charges pending and not currently under any Court supervision
or suspended sentence.
10) Complete volunteer orientation and training.
11) Attend staff meetings as specified.
TIME COMMITMENT: Minimum six months/four to six hours
per week.

POSITION TITLE: Intensive
DWI Supervision (ISAT) Program
PURPOSE: Assist probation officer in monitoring high
risk multiple DWI offenders and Drug Court offenders.
DUTIES:
1) Perform home visits as directed by supervising agent;
2) Report clients’ activities to supervising agent;
3) Conduct random home visits and obtain urinalysis testing on clients;
4) Document clients’ activities;
5) Meet with clients face-to-face;
6) Complete paperwork as necessary.
REQUIREMENTS:
1) At least 18 years old;
2) Willingness to learn and help people;
3) Open-minded and non-judgmental;
4) Maintain confidentiality;
5) Good communication skills;
6) Ability to meet with criminal offenders and set conditions;
7) Interviewing skills to obtain accurate information;
8) Three years of verifiable sobriety if chemically dependent;
9) No criminal charges pending or under any court supervision or suspended
sentence;
10) Attend in-service meetings as scheduled;
11) Attend staff meetings as specified.
TIME COMMITMENT: Minimum of 6 months – number

POSITION TITLE: Drug Court
Assistant
PURPOSE: Assist Drug Court agent in direct case management
of client.
DUTIES:
1) Maintain accurate client and court activity.
2) Gather and compute case statistics and enter into computer.
3) Provide direct skills development activities with client.
4) Assist with weekly drug court hearings and accurately document data.
5) Assist in the facilitation of treatment and cognitive restructuring
groups.
6) Provide mentoring services when necessary.
