The Court Administrator's Office is open to the public from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday. The county observes the following holidays: New Year's Day; Martin Luther King, Jr. Day; President's Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Veteran's Day; Thanksgiving Day and the day after; Christmas Eve (close at 3 P.M.); and Christmas Day.
The Court Administrator provides staff support for a full range of court operations for the District Court. The department is responsible for processing and management of all records and files of the court as well as providing services to the public, other county offices and the judiciary. The department is also responsible for processing and calendaring of Civil, Family/Probate, Criminal/Traffic, Juvenile, and Conciliation (small claims) cases through the court system. Court Administration is also responsible for the collection and disbursement of fines, fees, and restitution, and safeguarding all court ordered trusts.

Blue Earth County Payable Fines for offense on or after 07/01/09
If you received a ticket before July 1, 2009, if you were charged with more than one offense, or if you have questions or wish to plead guilty please call the number above.
If you were charged with speeding in a school or work zone or if the endangered box is checked on your ticket, you must appear on the court date listed at the bottom of the ticket.
All fines are due by the court date located at the bottom of your ticket and are payable to Court Administration, P O Box 347, Mankato, MN 56002.
Our office is located on the 2nd floor of the Blue Earth County Justice Center located at 401 Carver Road, Mankato, Minnesota.
To view all payable fines you can go to www.courts.state.mn.us, scroll down and select Justice Agency Resources and from that page scroll down and select Statewide Payables List. To that amount you must add the law library fee which is $10.00 in Blue Earth County.
Failure to pay, appear, or contact the court on or by the court date given on your ticket may result in driver's license suspension (any state), a warrant being issued, increased fines and/or referral to a collection agency with additional fees.

You must appear in court if:
1. You plead not guilty or guilty with an explanation.
2. You are involved in an accident and the officer checks the endangered box on citation.
