This scenic, wooded/open-space park provides a wide range of facilities for overnight campers and picnickers. An island with a 0.5 mile-long primitive trail allows exploration of the natural state of the island. A caretaker is in residence year round. Call (507) 524-3000 to make a camping reservation or a shelter reservation.
Man and dog Location: Daly Park is on the northeastern shore of Lura Lake off County Road 191, about 4.5 miles southwest of Mapleton.

Lake: Lura Lake (1,263 acres) contains crappies, sunfish, perch, northerns, walleye, bass, and bullheads. A fishing pier and dock are provided with a double-ramped boat landing.
